Academic Search Complete
A multi-disciplinary database of over 10,000 journals as well as more than 10,000 monographs, reports, conference proceedings, etc. More than 6,000 of the journals are full-text and over 5,000 of those are peer reviewed. Nearly all areas of study are covered with articles (PDF format) as far back as 1887.

Aerospace and High Technology Database (CSA)
The Aerospace & High Technology Database provides bibliographic coverage of basic and applied research in aeronautics, astronautics, and space sciences; technology development and applications in chemistry, geosciences, physics, communications, and electronics; and, reports issued by NASA, other U.S. government agencies, international institutions, universities, and private firms. Print equivalents are: International Aerospace Abstracts (IAA)(1961-present); Scientific and Technical Aerospace Reports (STAR) (1962-present).

Aquatic Sciences and Fisheries Abstracts (CSA)
The ASFA (Aquatic Sciences and Fisheries Abstract) database, the premier reference in the field of aquatic resources, covers over 5,000 serial publications, books, reports, conference proceedings, translations and limited distribution literature. ASFA is a component of the Aquatic Sciences and Fisheries Information System (ASFIS). The print equivalents are: ASFA 1: Biological Sciences & Living Resources; ASFA 2: Ocean Technology, Policy & Non-Living Resources; ASFA 3: Aquatic Pollution & Environmental Quality; ASFA Marine Biotechnology Abstracts; and ASFA Aquaculture Abstracts.

Primarily legal database offering current awareness reporters, full text of primary legal materials, explanations, practice tools such as calculators, case tables and indexes to legal information. ERIC via the WilsonWeb database link provides access to information from journal articles and other educational documents. The database contains more than 1,194,000 records and links to more than 200,000 full-text documents from ERIC. The database lists citations and abstracts for over 1,000 comprehensively indexed educational and education-related journals, primarily American, along with some Canadian and British publications. The ERIC collection includes annotated bibliographic records, including journal articles, books, research syntheses, conference papers, technical reports, policy papers, and other education-related materials.

PsycARTICLES is a database of full-text articles from journals published by the American Psychological Association, the APA Educational Publishing Foundation, the Canadian Psychological Association, and Hogrefe & Huber. In 2006, the historical backfiles of the journals were added to the database.

SciFinder Scholar [www.CAS.org]
Search for information related to biology, biochemistry, chemistry, chemical engineering, marine biology, oceanography, and physics. SciFinder Scholar can be accessed (1) via a Web link requiring registration with your fit.edu email address or (2) a downloadable program accessed from your pc. Databases searched are Chemical Abstracts, MEDLINE, the CAS Registry, and CASReact. Searching can be done by research topic (keyword/s), author name, chemical structure, chemical name, or chemical reaction. The link above will allow access to your CAS Web account or downloading of the necessary software and preference files for installing SciFinder Scholar on a workstation. SciFinder Scholar is installed on the public workstations on the first floor of Evans Library.
