Program Requirements and Measurable Outcomes

Program Requirements

• Attend the Link Scholars Program introductory meeting.
• Attend an initial meeting with Project Team Leader and other team members to define goals, create a timeline for completion of the project, and to determine measurable outcomes for your work.
• Conduct project sessions: briefings and instruction on the Link Digitization process.
• Attend scheduled project meetings and present written and oral progress reports as instructed.
• Submit review copies of your written report and presentation one week (by April 22, 2005 ) before the formal presentation.
• Revise the report and presentation as directed.
• Conduct a multi-media presentation of your project at the Link Scholars formal presentation ceremony on April 29, 2005 in the Library's Link Multimedia Room.

Measurable Outcomes

• Digitized and electronically archived materials in the Edwin A. Link Special Collection
• Internet access to the digitized material through the LINK
• Public and campus awareness of the collection
• Documented digitization process for future projects
• Updated online bibliography for Edwin A. Link Collection
• Technically advanced webpage
• Knowledge of inventor and visionary, Edwin A. Link, the Edwin A. Link Special Collection, the Link Foundation, and the Evans Library's Library Information NetworK ( LINK )
