The LINK
Web access to the library resources and services is through the library's homepage, the Library Information NetworK (LINK) at www.lib.fit.edu. Use the main headings on the front page and/or the Express Links to get to these resources and services.

Access Instructions
Access to licensed databases and electronic journals is restricted to current Florida Tech faculty, students, and academic staff.

Research Resources

Listed under Research Resources are online resources to help with your research needs. For example:

• A to Z Journal List - provides direct access to thousands of full-text journals and articles.
• Best Internet Sites - links to hundreds of evaluated Internet resources under the following headings:
  Government Resources - connects to federal, state, and international government information
  Reference Sources - links to standard (dictionaries, encyclopedias, manuals, handbooks) and non-traditional sources
  Sites by Discipline - links to highly regarded sites grouped by disciplines, including distance/online learning sites.
• Databases and Indexes - provides access to over 90 licensed databases and over 65 free Florida Tech discipline-related databases. The 360 Search searches multiple databases simultaneously.

Research Help & Instruction
A variety of guides, tools, and other instructional materials assist in using the LINK and performing research. E-LEARN (Evans Library Electronically Accessible Research Notebook) is an Internet-accessible research workshop designed to acquaint students with the resources and services available via the LINK.
