Spotlight on Special Collections

Historical information on the Brevard County and many of its cities can be found in Special Collections.	Relive school memories through copies of Ad Astra. The library retains at least one copy of every Florida Tech yearbook.

“Spotlight on Special Collections” illuminated many rare, significant, and archival materials housed in the Evans Library’s various special collections. This display featured items from the Jerome P. Keuper, the General John B. Medaris, and the Edwin A. Link non-circulating collections, as well as archival materials such as historical campus photographs, back issues of the Ad Astra and the Crimson, theses, and dissertations.

A quail egg business was among Dr. Keuper's Early efforts
to support Florida Institute of Technology. Included in the
Special Collections display was a ceramic quail, which is
all that remains of the businness venture.
