The wireless network is available in the Evans Library. The wireless area is for all four floors of the library. The wireless network will be limited to only primary network protocols (i.e. Web, Email, Secure Shell)
Students must register their wireless devices by going to the following website
http://it.fit.edu/wireless/ and selecting -Student Wireless Connections- Registration must occur from on campus and you will need your Tracks ID and password.
Faculty and Staff must register by selecting the -Faculty/Staff Connections- same web address.
This registration will be for all current and future wireless areas on campus.
More information will follow regarding the use of 40bit or 128bit encryption on the wireless network.
